hello i’m going to bmc tuesday and will be in nyc from that morning until afternoon wednesday, do you have any recs for me? trying to keep it mostly free so it’s a bit difficult to know what to do

the highline is free!! central park is gorgeous just to walk through, but there are some super cool spots to just sit and chill in/around (sheep’s meadow, shakespeare gardens, the reservoir, the lake with the rowboats, etc). also, most museums are pay what you wish (idk if the met still is [it might be if u have a student id or a state id from either ny or nj], but i know the natural history museum is and there are definitely others if u google) and those are SO worth going to. there’s an ice cream museum in brooklyn that’s also free but sometimes the lines can get long (but i hear they move fast!). hope this helps!!
