so a few days ago i went to this 50th birthday party (i was designated driver for my mom) and met this guy who had gone to my rival high school and we roasted each other for a solid while about our high school’s sports teams and then i was like “lol idec i’m a theater kid” and he was like “NO WAY me too buuuut our shows were better ha i think we won a few more awards than your school did” and i was like “eeeehhhhhh i don’t think so we won our fair share” and then he was like “just kidding i’m proud of you kid” and then he high-fived me and walked away and it was the most bizarre five minutes of my life bc this 40 year old man just roasted/bantered with me out of nowhere

anyway i found out during lunch yesterday that he was the actor who voiced bolin in legend of korra and was also in wolf of wall street and is kind of a big deal apparently??? so yeah that was A Thing That Happened
