i am (to both, lol)!!! i took astronomy 101 as a first-semester freshman and they asked me to TA right after, so this is my third semester doing it!! my school has a HUGE physics program and a VERY small grad program (~50 grad students for a school of 4,000) so all the stem kids get sent to TA the physics lab, and they pick astro TA’s based off who does well in the class itself (which is how you get a creative writing/poli sci major teaching kids about space lmfao). it’s genuinely the coolest thing about me, ngl
